Terms of Service

Last updated 23 September 2026

Who we are

These terms govern your use of Easyplug, operated by easyplug. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. Contact: support@easy-plug.co.

The service

Easyplug helps you find public chargers and start, follow and pay for charging sessions on them. The chargers are run by charge-point operators, not by us.

Your account

You must be an adult able to enter into a contract to create an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for sessions started from your account.

Starting a charge

When you start a charge we send a command to the charge-point operator. An accepted command is not yet charging: the session begins when the charger reports it, and the operator's meter is the source of truth for the energy delivered.

Prices and payment

The price shown before you charge is the operator's tariff. You need a payment method on file. We place a hold when the session starts, then charge the amount the operator bills in the official charge detail record and release the rest. Receipts are available in the app.

Stopping a charge

You can stop a session from the app. The connector is free only once the operator marks the session completed.

Billing questions and refunds

If you think a charge is wrong, contact support@easy-plug.co. We review it with the operator and refund any amount billed in error. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Photos and reviews

Photos and reviews you post must be about the station, accurate, and yours to share. You let us display them in the service. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading, unlawful or unrelated.

The assistant

The in-app assistant is generated by AI and can be wrong. Check prices, availability and routes before relying on them.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other drivers' data, disrupt chargers or the app, reverse-engineer it, or use it for fraud.

Availability

Station information and availability come from operators and other drivers and can be out of date. A charger shown as available may be busy or out of order when you arrive. We work to keep the service running but cannot guarantee it is uninterrupted.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a charger's operation, for losses caused by an operator, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend an account used for fraud or to damage the service.

App Store and Google Play

These terms are between you and easyplug, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance or support, or for any claim about it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund its purchase price (the app is free); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo and not on a U.S. Government restricted-party list.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply.
